Bismark 1:1200
Next to the Tirpitz the Bismarck, the flag-ship of the Germany Navy was the largest German warship with a displacement of 50,900 tons and a crew of 2092 men. Put into service on 24.08.1940, she left port on 18.05.1941 for operation Rhine Exercise. Together with the Prinz Eugen she was discovered early by British reconnaissance planes. In the encounter with the Hood on 24.05.1941 the latter was sunk by the Bismarck. After a long chase the Bismarck was hit by an aircraftfired torpedo on 26.05.1941 and intercepted by the British battleships King George V and Rodney. On 27.05.1941 the Bismarck was sunk by her own crew 490 km off the french coast.

Gneisenau 1:1200
This battle cruiser was launched on 18.12.1936 and went into service on 21.05.1938. She was a sister to the Scharnhorst. In the design of this class absolute priority was given to stability. In 1939/40 she ventured forth to the north of the North Sea and sank the British auxiliary cruiser Rawalpindi. On 26th and 27.2.1942 the Gneisenau was bombed in Keil, taken out of service, moved to Gotenhafen and on 28.03.1945 she was sunk.

The Duke of York, one of the five King George V battle ships, was launched on 28.02.1940 and completed on 2.11.1941. Her first mission was to take Prime Minister Churchill to the USA. The ship was used in European waters throughout the war, mostly as a protection vessel for the convoys bound for Murmansk. OceanLiner QUEEN MARY 2 1:1200
The Queen Mary 2 is the superlative passenger liner. With 150,000 GRT, she is the largest, longest (345 m), tallest (at 72 m she is taller than the Statue of Liberty) and most magnificent ship ever built for the Cunard Line. 2,620 passengers can be accommodated on 14 stylish and luxuriously equipped passenger decks, plus a crew of 1,253. With her long, elegant hull and powerful engines (max. 29 knots) she was specially designed for transatlantic crossings; from Europe (Southampton, England) to North America (New York) in 6 days. The Queen Mary 2 concept was created in May 1998. After a further two years in development, in November 2000 the order was placed with a French shipyard and she was handed over to the Cunard Line on 22 December 2003. After wintering in the Caribbean, in April 2004 the ship entered regular transatlantic service. The Queen Mary 2 continues the tradition of North Atlantic travel, thus perpetuating an era of ocean travel that was already claimed to have ended.

RMS Titanic 1:1200
The Titanic achieved fame due to the tragic events that overtook her during her maiden voyage on 14th April 1912. The Queen of the Sea was to carry 1,316 passengers from Southampton to New York for the White Star Line. During the night at about 23.40 hours, in the Atlantic, the British luxury linerhit an iceberg that tore a 100 m gash in her starboard side. When the Titanic sank at about 0.20 hours on 15th April 1,503 of the 2,206 people on board lost their lives. The 46,329 BRT vessel had a length of 267 m and a displacement of 66,000 tons.
