Produktbeskrivning för Piper PA-18-150 FLOAT PLANE 1:32
The Piper Super Cub is without doubt the best known aircraft made by this firm. It is based on the J-3 Cub made in 1937 and the improved J-4 Coupe that was superseded by the PA-18-95 and given the name Super Cub. A total of 40,000 aircraft were built in the Cub and Super Cub range. That makes it the most built aircraft of its class. The PA-18-150 was an upgraded version with new engines. There was immediately great demand for a floatplane version, in particular interest in a floatplane with an integral undercarriage for amphibian purposes. It was very popular in Canada and the USA and also in many European countries such as the Netherlands and Switzerland. The model has the large 150 hp engine with cowling and detailed and detailed float pods with undercarriage components. The 2nd wing tank is also included.
