The Apollo spacecraft that carried the astronauts to the moon consisted of 2 components: the command module and the service module. The command module consisted of the accommodation/cockpit section for the 3 astronauts and extensive electronic communication systems. The oxygen and power were supplied from the service module that also contained the main power plant, to enable the lunar orbit to be reached and also to provide the thrust for the return to Earth. The command and service modules were coupled together throughout the mission, that is on the journeys both to and from the moon. Only a few minutes before entry into the Earths atmosphere the command module was separated from the service module. The command module alone returned to Earth and landed safely on parachutes in the Pacific.

The set includes four paints for the basic decoration, a two-sided paintbrush and Revell Contacta Professinal Mini.

Darth Mauls personal spaceship is conspicuous for its unusually long nose. Its best feature by far is the camouflage system that makes it invisible to most sensors. The equipment is operated by the rare and costly stygium crystals that are only obtainable on the Aeten II planets in the outer rim, so that hardly any such camouflage systems are found on other spacecraft. In addition to its six concealed laser cannon, the Infiltrator carries a broad range of additional equipment, including Darth Mauls Speeder and various Droid sensors. The powerful ion drive gives it high speeds in space, while the Sienar SSDS hyper spacedrive only offers medium speeds. The Infiltrator is known for the pursuit of the Jedi on Tatooine and was discovered on Naboo after the showdown with Qui Gon-Jinn. The origin of this spacecraft is unknown, but that it is connected with the Sienar System research laboratory is shown by the round cockpit, also a feature of the TIE Fighter series. Darth Maul is one of the Zabrak people and comes from the planet Iridonia. He is recognizable by the round horns on his head.

A heavily armoured transport and passenger shuttle of the Lambda class with three wings and seating for up to 20 soldiers. Shuttles of the Lambda class, due to their fire-power and hyperdrive, are preferred by the imperial officers, including the Emperor himself. The troops of Han Solo have used this ship, the Tydirium, in order to sneak past the imperial forces encircling the forest moon Endor. Shuttles of the Lambda class are designed to carry up to twenty passengers or eighty tonnes of freight. Unlike similar imperial transports the Lambda shuttles are equipped with a hyperdrive that enable them to carry passengers and freight between different stellar systems and fleets. By way of protection the shuttle has two forward-firing double-barrelled laser cannon, two forward-firing double-barrelled blaster cannon and one tail-mounted double-barrelled blaster cannon.
